PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Sejumlah mahasiswa yang menggelar aksi demonstran di depan kantor Bupati Kepulauan Sula, Kamis (9/6) kemarin menyebabkan sejumlah fasilitas pemerintah rusak.
Staf Khusus Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Sula, Tamra Ticoalu, menyebut demonstran yang digelar sejumlah mahasiswa itu tidak mengantongi izin dari pihak kepolisian.
Diketahui surat pemberitahuan ke Polres Sula seharusnya pelaksanaan demonstrasi pada Jumat 10 Juni 2022. Nyatanya aksi yang dilakukan lebih dulu.
“Olehnya itu, para pendome tidak dikawal oleh pihak keamanan, sehingga terjadi pelemparan dan pembakaran hingga dapat merusak sejumlah fasilitas daerah berupa dua buah kaca jendela, dan pembakaran satu buah meja piket serta satu buah tempat sampah,” ujarnya.
Menurutnya, dalam rangka menegakan keadilan, maka atas nama Pemkab Kepulauan Sula yang diwakili Kabag Hukum Setda Sula Mardia Umasangadji, Kaban Kesbangpol Junaidi Buamona, serta dirinya selaku Stafsus Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Sula mengambil langkah hukum sesuai dengan presodur yang berlaku.
Kata dia, laporan yang diajukan ke pihak kepolisian terhadap para pelaku yang diduga melakukan pengrusakan fasilitas negara itu lebih dari satu orang. Pihaknya juga sudah mengantongi alat bukti berupa video oknum pendemo melakukan pengrusakan.
Pihaknya berharap Polres Sula dapat memproses kasus ini secara tuntas dan seluruh pelakunya ditangkap.
“Apabila Polres Sula tidak menangkap pelaku, maka Pemda Sula akan berupaya langkah hukum ke satu tingkat, yakni melaporkan ke Polda Malut atau sampai ke Mabes Polri,” tegasnya. (ish/ask)
