PENAMALUT.COM, TEENATE – Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu) Maluku Utara membuka ruang terhadap masyarakat yang memenuhi persyaratan untuk mendaftar sebagai pemantau Pemilu serentak 2024 mendatang. Ini bagian dari tindaklanjut pembukaan Bawaslu RI secara serentak yang ditandai dengan peluncuran Meja Layanan Pemantau Pemilu 2024.
Koordinator Divisi Pengawasan Bawaslu Malut, Masita Nawawi Gani menuturkan, pendaftaran anggota pemantau Pemilu telah dimulai Jumat (10/6) kemarin secara serentak di seluruh Indonesia. Tujuannya untuk membantu kerja-kerja Bawaslu, utamanya pemantauan. Ini karena tahapan Pemilu 2024 bakal dimulai 14 Juni 2022.
“Pemantau Pemilu sudah bisa mendaftar hari ini di Kantor Bawaslu Malut. Selain itu, mereka harus memiliki persyaratan yang sudah ditetapkan sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 7 tahun 2017 dan Peraturan Bawaslu Nomor 14 tahun 2018 tentang Pemantau Pemilu,” ujarnya kepada wartawan, Sabtu (11/6) tadi.
Karena itu, lanjut dia, secara nasional Bawaslu telah melakukan peluncuran Meja Layanan Pemantau Pemilu 2024 yang dilakukan langsung oleh Ketua Bawaslu RI di Jakarta. Tujuannya, untuk memberikan akses informasi seluas-luasnya kepada masyarakat dalam memantau pesta 5 tahun sekali, sebagai wujud keterbukaan dan ruang partisipasi yang demokratis.
Lebih jauh, ia mengaku untuk lembaga yang akan mendaftar sebagai pemantau Pemilu, harus memiliki sejumlah persyaratan administrasi pendaftaran, yakni pemantau harus bersifat independen, mempunyai sumber dana yang jelas, terdaftar dan memperoleh akreditasi dari Bawaslu.
Untuk kelengkapan administrasi pemantau dan beberapa item persyaratan, yakni profil organisasi, nama dan jumlah anggota, alokasi pemantauan per wilayah, dan rencana jadwal daerah yang dipantau.
“Untuk lebih jelasnya, apabila ada lembaga yang concern dalam pemantauan Pemilu, bisa mendatangi kantor Bawaslu Malut, atau Bawaslu kabupaten/kota setempat yang ada di Maluku Utara,” pungkasnya. (tan/ask)
