PENAMALUT.COM, SOFIFI – Upacara peringatan hari ulang tahun (HUT) Provinsi Maluku Utara ke 23 yang berlangsung di Ibu Kota Sofifi, Rabu (12/10), tak dihadiri Gubernur Abdul Gani Kasuba dan Wakil Gubernur M. Al Yasin Ali.
Ketidakhadiran kedua petinggi Pemprov Malut ini membuat Sekretaris Daerah Provinsi Malut, Samsudin Abdul Kadir harus bertindak sebagai inspektur upacara (Irup) pada peringatan HUT tersebut.
Sekda juga harus menggantikan posisi Gubernur dan Wagub untuk membacakan pidato Gubernur pada paripurna HUT Provinsi ke 23 yang berlangsung di gedung DPRD Malut.
Absennya Gubernur dan Wagub pada HUT Provinsi kali ini sangat disesalkan Anggota DPRD Provinsi Malut, Sofyan Daud.
Menurut Sofyan, HUT Provinsi merupakan agenda tahunan yang sangat penting. Sehingga itu, agenda-agenda lainnya harus menyesuaikan.
“Sehingga itu, HUT Provinsi hari ini dengan slogan Malut Sinergi Sofifi Mandiri hanya basa-basi,” ujarnya dengan nada kesal.
Selain Soyfan Daud, Anggota DPRD Bakir Buamona juga sangat menyayangkan ketidakhadiran Gubernur dan Wagub.
“Kenapa Gubernur dan Wagub tidak hadir. Ini harus diperjelas. Karena ini agenda penting. Kita kedatangan tamu istimewa dari jauh-jauh, tapi Gubernur dan Wagub malah tidak ada,” tukasnya.
Sementara Sekda Samsudin Abdul Kadir saat dikonfirmasi secara terpisah mengatakan, ketidakhadiran Gubernur dan Waguba dikarenakan ada agenda yang sudah terjadwal.
Gubernur, kata Sekda, menghadiri undangan launching Sail Tidore di Jakarta. Sedangkan Wagub menghadiri MTQ Nasional yang berlangsung di Kota Samarinda, Kalimantan. (ask)
