PENA –Ā Iuran Pelanggan Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Jailolo, Halmahera Barat, yang digratiskan atau dibebaskan pembayarannya oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Halmahera Barat dimasa Bupati Danny Missy pada 2020 kemarin masih tertunggak Rp 240 juta.
Hal itu diungkapkan oleh Direktur Utama (Dirut) PDAM Halmahera Barat, Iksan M. Nur, saat dikonfirmasi diruang kerjanya Kamis (01/04) tadi.
Ia mengaku untuk iuran pelanggan PDAM yang digratiskan tiga bulan pada April hingga Juni 2020 kemarin, sebagian belum dilunasi oleh Pemkab Halbar.
“Anggaran masih tersisa yang belum dibayarkan oleh Pemkab Halbar itu 240 juta yang belum dibayarkan ke PDAM,” ujarnya
Menyangkut keseluruhan anggaran untuk menggratiskan iuran PDAM kepada pelanggan, diakui Iksan, jika dirinya lupa jumlah totalnya berapa. Tetapi dia mengakui, sebagian sudah dibayarkan.
Dikatakannya, mungkin karena Bupati sebelumnya sibuk pada suksesi politik hingga tertunda pembayarannya.
“Dan saya sangat berharap agar Pemda segera melunasi iuran tersebut. Saya pikir akan terbayar cuma soal masalah waktu saja, tapi kalau berlarut-larut juga akan repot karena biaya operasional dan gaji karyawan ada pada anggaran itu,” imbuhnya.
Ia juga menyebutkan kalau itu iuran dari pelanggan sendiri, maka pihaknya akan menagih. “Tapi ini melekat di Pemda yang menggratiskan iuran pelanggan tiga bulan pada 2020 kemarin,” pungkasnya.
Ia juga menuturkan ini iuran yang digratiskan tersebut ialah pelanggan mulai dari Sahu, Jailolo hingga Jailolo Selatan.
“Dan ada pelanggan yang punya iuran perbulan itu 400 ribu sampai 500 ribu.
Dengan jumlah keseluruhan pelanggan 8 ribu lebih yang digratiskan iurannya itu,” ujarnya
Perlu diketahui, kebijakan untuk menggratiskan iuran pelanggan PDAM selama 3 bulan yang diambil oleh Bupati Halbar sebelumnya, Danny Missy, karena alasan Pandemi Covid-19 yang memaksa sebagian warga kehilangan mata pencaharian. (*)
