PENA – DPD KNPI Malut menyikapi langkah Polda Malut terkait pencegahan gerakan radikalisme, terorisme dan sejenisnya.
Juru bicara KNPI Malut, Ikhwan Muhammad menuturkan, kegiatan Polda Malut dalam rangka membahas pencegahan radikalisme dan terorisme masih terkesan dangkal dan belum berisi. Langkah-langkah Polda juga tidak menyentuh masyarakat lapisan bawah.
Menurutnya, ada dua kegiatan yang dilakukan Polda setelah bom meledak di Sulawesi Selatan. Pertama: hampir semua lembaga pemerintah dan non pemerintah, ormas dan OKP di Malut menyampaikan sikap sekaligus mengutuk aksi bom di Sulawesi Selatan.
Kedua: tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat, Ormas dan OKP dikumpulkan di Mapolda untuk membahas radikalisme dan terorisme. Kegiatan pekan lalu itu dihadiri Kapolda dan pejabat utama Polda.
“Bagi saya, setelah kejadian lalu banyak pihak mengecam, itu hal yang sudah kuno. Harusnya ada langkah lain yang lebih kreatif dan pesannya menyentuh hingga ke masyarakat bawah,” ujarnya menyarankan.
“Kegiatan yang kedua Polda itu Ketua KNPI Malut juga ikut hadir. Tidak ada yang istimewa dalam kegiatan tersebut. Yang ada hanyalah tiga orang utusan masyarakat menyatakan keluhannya ke Kapolda, kemudian ditanggapi dan selesai,” jelasnya.
Kedepan, saran Ikhwan, langkah-langkah Polda dalam rangka menyikapi apapun peristiwa di tengah-tengah masyarakat harus lebih kreatif. Cipta kondisi tidak mesti menakan dan memaksa.
