PENAMALUT.COM, TOBELO – Jumlah pelanggan listrik di Kabupaten Halmahera Utara sebanyak 45.900. Dalam sebulan, pelanggan yang melakukan pembayaran listrik ke PT. Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) mencapai 5 miliar.
Manejer Pelakasana Harian pada Unit Layanan Pelanggan (ULP) PT. PLN Tobelo, Ahmaddin Yakub menuturkan bahwa jumlah pelanggan yang tersebar di sejumlah kecamatan di Halut sesuai hasil pendapatan rekening listrik dan rekening pulsa mencapai Rp 5 miliar dalam sebulan.
“Pembayaran listrik ini langsung terbaca dalam sistem dari pusat sekaligus setoran ke pusat dan dikembalikan ke daerah sebanyak 10 persen atau Rp 400 juta sampai dengan Rp 500 juta melalui pemerintah daerah,” kata Ahmaddin saat ditemui wartawan, Selasa (15/6).
Ahmaddin mengaku dari Januari sampai Juni ini tidak ada pelanggan yang menunggak pembayaran listrik. Pemerintah daerah maupu instansi lainnya serta masyarakat setiap akhir bulan atau tepat tanggal 31 sudah menyelesaikan semua tunggakan.
Sementara untuk pajak penerangan jalan (PPJ) yang harus dibayarkan kepada pemerintah daerah setiap bulannya berkisar 400 sampai 500 juta.
Ia berharap kesadaran masyarakat Halut dalam pembayaran listrik terus ditingkatkan, sehingga tidak ada yang terlambat atau menunggak pembayaran.
Ahmaddin bilang, pihaknya sering mengalami kendala seperti tumbangnya pohon dan menimpa kabel hingga terjadi pemadaman. Untuk itu, dia meminta masyarakat pemilik kebun yang didalamnya terdapat pohon besar di dekat kabel agar diatasi, sehingga tidak terjadi gangguan. (fnc/red)
