PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Warga RT/RW 10/05 Kelurahan Akehuda, Kota Ternate, mendadak heboh dengan penemuan mayat bayi berjenis kelamin perempuan.
Mayat bayi yang yang diperkirakan sudah berusia 7 bulan itu ditemukan warga setempat, Kamis (7/10) sekira pukul 12.30 WIT tadi.
Salah seorang saksi, Abjan (36) mengatakan, awalnya ia diberitahu salah seorang anak, Delon, yang merupakan tetangganya bahwa ada sosok mayat yang ditemukan di area gudang pupuk.
Kata Abjan, Delon dan temannya saat itu sedang memetik mangga di area gudang pupuk itu. Setelah pulang, Delon melihat ada jari bayi terbentang di atas tanah.
Delon kemudian memberitahu Abjan yang rumahnya berada tak jauh dari lokasi ditemukannya mayat bayi tersebut.
“Setelah itu saya dan ibunya Delon dan beberapa temannya langsung menuju ke lokasi ditemukannya bayi. Setelah kami lihat, ternyata bayi tersebut dikubur menggunakan kantong pelastik bertuliska Alfamidi berwarna putih,” ujar Abjan saat ditemui di lokasi kejadian.
Menurutnya, bayi tersebut diperkirakan sudah berusia 7 bulan. Sebab seluruh anggota badannya terbentuk.
Abjan kemudian menghubungi RT setempat dan pihak kepolisian. Tak lama kemudian, pihak kepolisian dari Polsek Ternate Utara tiba di TKP.
Warga setempat yang mengetahui adanya penemuan mayat bayi ini langsung ramai-ramai menuju ke TKP.
Semsntara Delon (14), saksi yang menemukan mayat bayi tersebut membenarkan jika ia dan temannya menemukan mayat bayi tersebut.
“Setelah kami petik mangga dan mau turun, kami lihat ada tangan keluar di atas tanah. Kami kira itu monyet, padah bayi. Selanjutnya kami beritahu Om Abjan,” tuturnya.
Saat ini pihak kepolisian telah membawa mayat bayi tersebut ke RSUD untuk diotopsi. (ano/red)
