PENAMALUT.COM, TOBELO – Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Kabupaten Halmahera Utara meninjau kesiapan alat pembakar sampah (Inseminator) milih PT. Nusa Halmahera Mineral (NHM), Senin (28/3).
Kunjungan tersebut merupakan tindaklanjut pertemuan secara daring antara DLH Halut, Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan PT. NHM beberapa hari lalu.
Kepala DLH Halut, samud Taha kepada wartwan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG) menjelaskan, kunjungan ke PT. NHM itu untuk memantau proses pekerjaan dan mengecek pembuangan alat pembakaran tersebut. Setelah itu pihaknya akan melaporkan ke Kementerian LHK untuk mengeluarkan persetejuan teknisnya, sehinga bisa dioperasikan.
“Pada pretengahan April nanti akan dilakukan uji coba alat pembakaran milik PT. NHM ini,” ujar samud Taha, saat ditemui di ruang kerjanya, Selasa (29/3).
Pihaknya berharap dengan Inseminator ini bisa mengurangi sampa lewat pembakaran tersebut, begitu juga dengan limba B3 bisa didaur kembali.
Ia berharap PT. NHM agar dapat menjaga lingkungan yang saat ini berada pada kategori biru menuju hijau, dan tinggal satu tingkat lagi menuju hijau.
“Dalam rangka pengawasan ini kami juga taat terhadap aturan dan akan melaporkan hasilnya,” jelas dia. (fnc)
