Ketegaskan ini disampaikan Kapolres sesuai instruksi dari Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo melalui Kapolda dan diteruskan ke Kapolres di seluruh Indonesia untuk menindak segala bentuk perjudian.
“Kami tidak akan memberikan ruang untuk perjudian. Kami juga mengharapkan laporan informasi dari seluruh elemen masyarakat, jika ada praktik perjudian ataupun tindak pidana lainnya yang meresahkan masyarakat, maka silakan dilaporkan ke Polres maupun Polsek Jajaran,” harap Kapolres saat menyampaikan konferensi didampingi Kasat Reskrim AKP Ambo Wellang dan Kasi Humas Iptu Yuherson Dodowor, Senin (29/8).
Sementara Kepala Seksi (Kasi) Humas Polres Halbar, Iptu Yuherson Dodowor menambahkan, Satreskrim Polres Halbar telah berhasil mengungkap satu kasus perjudian yang beredar di Kabupaten Halmahera Barat. Pelakunya ditangkap di area Pelabuhan Laut Jailolo yang kerap terjadi penjualan nomor judi togel.
Pelaku yang diktehahi berinisial AH saat diamankan sedang mencatat nomor-nomor yang telah dijual. Adapun barang bukti yang berhasil diamankan berupa sebuah tas salempang, sebuah buku tulis rekapan nomor togel, satu buah pena bolpoin, satu buah handphone dan uang tunai sebanyak Rp 1.227.000.
“Setelah diamankan dan dimintai keterangan, pelaku kini telah ditahan. Pelaku tindakannya ini untuk menambah kebutuhan sehari-hari,” tukas Yuherson. (adi/ask)
