PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Aksi penolakan kenaikan harga bahan bakar minyak (BBM) bersubsidi nyaris ricuh, di depan kantor Wali Kota Ternate, Senin (12/9).
Amatan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG) di lapangan, massa yang tergabung dalam aliansi Berjuang Bersama Masyarakat (BBM) ini terlibat saling dorong dengan pihak kepolisian.
Ini karena sejumlah mahasiswa tampak kesal lantaran Wali Kota Ternate, M. Tauhid Soleman tidak menemui massa disaat mereka meminta hering. Karena itu, massa merusaki fasilitas Pemkot di depan kantor wali kota, termasuk pagar utama juga dirobohkan oleh massa aksi.
Kapolres Ternate, AKBP Andik Purnomo Sigit mengatakan, pihaknya terpaksa mengamankan mahasiswa yang diduga melakukan provokasi.
“Tadi sempat kami menemukan massa aksi sebagai provokasi untuk merusak, bahkan kita dapatkan di tangannya ada alat. Untuk mencegah hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan, makanya mahasiswa itu diamankan. Karena itu, kami memanggil korlap-korlap untuk dikomunikasikan dengan baik, akhirnya mereka sepakat untuk tidak mengulangi hal itu, dan mahasiswa yang diamankan sudah dilepas kembali” jelas Andik kepada sejumlah wartawan.
Menurut Kapolres, pihaknya melihat ada massa aksi yang menyampaikan aspirasi dengan niat yang tidak bagus. Namun, semuanya sudah dikomunikasikan dengan baik, sehingga mereka dibubarkan dengan aman dan tertib.
“Saya mengimbau kepada massa aksi bahwa setiap melakukan unjuk rasa agar tidak merusaki fasilitas umum. Selain itu, saya juga mengucapkan terima kasih kepada massa aksi yang sudah menyampaikan aspirasi dengan aman dan sukses,” tuturnya.
Lebih lanjut, Andik menambahkan, untuk upaya antisipasi, pihaknya intens berkomunikasi dengan OKP sebelum mereka turun ke lapangan.
“Oleh sebab itu, kami akan ikut perkembangan, pergerakan, jumlah dan aksi mereka, sehingga kami bisa mengawal aksi mereka dengan fleksibel,” pungkasnya. (tan)
