Rencana Pemkab Bangun Pangkalan Induk Minyak Tanah Diprotes APMT Halut

PENAMALUT.COM, TOBELO – Asosiasi Pangkalan Minyak Tanah (APMT) Kabupaten Halmahera Utara menyambangi Mapolsek dan Kantor Bupati Halut, Kamis (13/10).

Kedatangan APMT ke Mapolsek dan Kantor Bupati Halut ini untuk menolak kebijakan pemerintah dengan mengeluarkan Keputusan Bupati Nomor: 500/269A/HU/2022 tentang pembentukan pangkalan induk di tiap kecamatan.

Selain itu, APMT juga meminta kepolisian untuk mengusut tuntas mafia minyak tanah di Halmahera Utara.

“Kami menilai keputusan Bupati bahwa pendistribusian minyak tanah hanya mempersulit masyarakat dan harga eceran tertinggi (HET) pun akan ikut naik, dan 896 pangkalan setiap desa akan dihapus serta dibentuknya pangkalan induk setiap kecamatan,” kata Koordinator Aksi, Haris Budiman.

Pihaknya, kata Haris, juga meminta pemerintah daerah untuk membaca situasi dan kondisi masyarakat di Halut. Dengan begitu, Pemkab tidak hanya mementingkan kepentingan pribadi dan kelompok, apalagi pada situasi keuangan daerah yang merosot, Bupati dan Wakil Bupati juga kerap kali pelesir keluar daerah.

“Untuk itu, ada tiga hal yang perlu dipertimbangkan pemerintah Halut, yaitu mempersulit jangkauan masyarakat yang sebelumnya dekat menjadi jauh, hilangnya 896 pangkalan minyak tanah, dan menurunnya secara drastis harga kopra yang berpengaruh pada pendapatan masyarakat,” cetus Haris.

Atas dasar itu, pihaknya menolak terbentuknya pangkalan induk karena hanya menyengsarakan masyarakat, menolak penghapusan pangkalan tiap desa atau usaha mikro kecil dan menengah karena akan terjadi pengangguran pelaku pangkalan. Kemudian pihaknya mendesak agar Bupati dan Wakil Bupati untuk menghentikan ambisi membangun pangkalan induk.

“Kami juga mendesak anggota DPRD Halut agar segera membijaki terkait penghapusan 896 pangkalan minyak tanah ini,” tegasnya. (fnc/tan)
