PENAMALUT.COM, WEDA – Proses pencarian terhadap seorang nelayan perempuan, Nurma Ahad (59 tahun), warga Desa Bilifitu, Kecamatan Patani Utara, Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah, yang hilang saat mancing sepekan lalu, kini dihentikan tim Basarnas Ternate, Selasa (17/1).
Kepala Basarnas Ternate, Fathur Rahman, mengatakan memasuki hari ke tujuh, pagi tadi pencarian seorang nenek yang hilang diduga terseret arus di pantai Desa Bilifitu Kecamatan Patani Utara, Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah terus dilanjutkan. Namun, tidak membuahkan hasil.
Pencarian yang melibatkan Rescuer Basarnas Ternate, TNI/Polri, BPBD dan masyarakat setempat ini dibagi menjadi 3 tim dengan memperluas area pencarian hingga 18 Nm dari Lokasi Kejadian Perkara (LKP).
Fathur bilang, seluruh unsur yang terlibat dan masyarakat berupaya semaksimal mungkin untuk melakukan pencarian. Tim melakukan pencarian dengan menyisir di sekitar lokasi kejadian hingga ke pesisir pantai Pulau Peniti.
“Metode pencarian yang digunakan juga terus dikembangkan. Basarnas Ternate juga menggunakan peralatan Aqua Eye untuk melakukan pencarian di lokasi kejadian korban, di mana peralatan Aqua Eye ini bisa mendeteksi korban di bawah laut. Namun hingga sore tadi pencarian belum membuahkan hasil,” jelasnya.
Menurut Fathur, berdasarkan hasil evaluasi seluruh unsur yang terlibat dan keluarga korban, serta luasnya area pencarian yang telah dilakukan selama 7 hari sesuai SOP, maka operasi SAR dinyatakan selesai dan ditutup. Korban dinyatakan hilang dan akan dilanjutkan dengan pemantauan.
Namun begitu, apabila suatu waktu ditemukan ada tanda-tanda keberadaan korban, maka Basarnas akan kembali melaksanakan operasi SAR.
Sebelumnya, korban bersama adiknya berniat mancing di dekat Dermaga Binisowlo, pada Minggu (10/1) sekira pukul 15.00 WIT. Saat korban mancing, adiknya menunggu di pantai. Ketika waktunya hendak pulang, sang adik tidak melihat lagi kakaknya, sempat adiknya mencari korban namun tidak menemukan. (tan)
