PENA – Kepolisian Daerah (Polda) Maluku Utara melalui Direktorat Reserse Narkoba (Ditresnarkoba) terus mendalami keterlibatan oknum anggota Polres Morotai yang diduga terlibat peredaran narkoba.
Oknum anggota polisi berinisial RD yang ditangkap beberapa waktu lalu itu terindikasi terlibat dalam jaringan peredaran narkoba lintas provinsi. Ini karena pada saat diamankan, terdapat barang bukti (BB) berupa narkoba jenis sabu seberat 9,16 gram.
“Oknum aggota Polres Morotai ini terbukti terindikasi terlibat jaringan peredaran narkoba. Hasil tes uriennya juga positif. Jadu saat ini kita tahan sementara di Polres Ternate untuk proses pidananya,” jelas Direktur Resrse Narkoba Polda Malut, Kombes (Pol) Tri Setyadi, saat dikonfirmasi Selasa (9/2).
Menurutnya, jaringan narkoba antar wilayah ini masih diselidiki, karena alamat pengirimnaya fiktif. Jasa pengiriman yang digunakan untuk mengirim barang haram tersebut melalui Tiki, dari Pontianak. Polisi menduga ini merupakan jaringan Pontianak – Ternate dan Morotai.
Perang melawan narkoba ini sudah menjadi komitmen pimpinan. Hal ini juga sudah ditegaskan Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo yang berkomutmen memberantas narkoba. “Jadi siapa saja, apalagi di internal Polri ada indikasi terlibat narkoba, maka akan kita sikat,” tegas perwira menengah dengan tiga melati itu.
Saat ini, lanjut Tri, terus dilakukan pengembangan, meski pelaku menutup keterangannya. “Entah takut atau bagaimana, karena semakin terbuka jaringan berarti semakin berat. Pelaku RD bersama kurir dan pengguna diancam pidana diatas lima tahun penjara,” tandasnya menutup. (nda)
