PENA – Pelantikan kepala daerah dan wakil kepala daerah hasil Pilkada tahun 2020 di Maluku Utara akan dilakukan sebanyak tiga tahap.
Pelantikan tahap pertama bagi daerah yang tidak bersengketa dan sudah memproleh hasil putusan sela Makmah Konstitusi (MK) akan dilaksanakan pada Jumat (26/2) lusa. Pada tahap pertama ini ada empat daerah di Malut yang akan melaksanakan pelantikan, yakni Kota Tidore Kepulauan, Kabupaten Halmahera Timur, Halmahera Barat, dan Kabupaten Taliabu.
Untuk tahap kedua, yakni Kota Ternate dan Kabupaten Halmahera Utara yang akan menunggu putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi pada tanggal 24 Maret. Sehingga itu, pelantikan tahap kedua untuk Kota Ternate dan Halut dipastikan pada Minggu kedua atau ketiga April.
Sementara untuk tahap ketiga, yakni Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan dan Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula akan menyesuaikan dengan masa akhir jabatan kepala daerah kedua daerah tersebut. Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan akan berakhir pada 23 Mei 2020, dan Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula berakhir pada 3 Juni.
“Halsel dan Sula ini akan dilantik bersamaan pada minggu kedua atau minggu ketiga bulan Juni 2020,” jelas Kabag Otda Biro Pemerintah Pemprov Malut yang juga Plh Karo Pemerintahan saat ditemui, Rabu (24/2) tadi.
Ia bilang, untuk daerah yang sudah memperoleh hasil putusan sela oleh MK, bisa mengajukan usulan pelantikan ke Gubernur Malut sambil menunggu masa jabatan kedua kepala daerah ini berakhir. Ini karena paripurna penetapan bupati dan wakil bupati tetpilih telah dilaksanakan.
“Silahkan saja mengusulkan, tapi proses penerbitan SK-nya menunggu akhir masa jabatan dua kepala daerah ini,” jelasnya. (ask)
