PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – DPRD Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula menyayakan sikap pihak kontraktor yang tidak membayar upah pekerja bangunan milik rumah sakit umum daerah (RSUD) Sanana.
Ketua Komisi III DPRD Sula, M. Natsir Umasangaji, meminta pihak kontraktor agar bertanggungjawab untuk segera membayar upah tukang tersebut.
“Apabila dalam waktu dekat kontraktor tidak juga membayar upah pekerja, maka kami akan memanggil pihak terkait yang terlibat dalam proyek ini,” tegas M. Natsir kepada wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), Selasa (31/5) tadi.
Namun demikian, kata dia, pihaknya melakukan langkah persuasif lebih dulu dengan meminta kepada kontraktor untuk melunasi upah pekerja.
“Kalaupun memang benar apa yang menjadi hak para pekerja itu tidak dibayar, maka saya sampaikan ke teman-teman komisi untuk panggil mereka. Biar selesai masaalah ini,” ujarnya.
“Dirut RSUD dan pejabat pembuatan komitmen (PPK) juga kontraktor dan pekerja akan kita panggil sama-sama, sebab ini menjadi tanggungjawab pihak kontraktor. Maka harus segera diselesaikan upah pekerja,” tandasnya. (ish/ask)
