PENAMALUT.COM,TERNATE – Sorang remaja di Kota Ternate, Maluku Utara, dilaporkan diterkam buaya saat sedang memancing di Danau Tolire Kelurahan Takome, Kecamatan Ternate Barat, Selasa (2/8). Peristiwa ini terjadi sekira pukul 17.30 WIT.
Korban diketahui bersama lima orang temannya memancing di danau tersebut, tiba-tiba seekor buaya menerkam korban. Sementara lima temannya menyelamatkan diri dan melaporkan warga setempat.
“Kronologi kejadian yang diterima Basarnas Ternate pada pukul 16.30 WIT, enam orang remaja turun ke Danau Tolire untuk memancing. Sekira pukul 16.50 WIT, secara tiba-tiba seekor buaya muncul dan menerkam satu orang,” jelas Kepala Basarnas Ternate, Fatur Rahman.
Menurut Fatur, baik korban maupun lima temannya belum diketahui identitas mereka. Pihaknya, kata dia, sementara turun ke danau melakukan pencarian.
“Pukul 17.40 WIT, tim Rescue Basarnas Ternate bergerak menuju ke Lokasi Kejadian Perkara (LKP) menggunakan satu unit Rescue Car serta membawa peralatan SAR untuk melakukan operasi SAR,” pungkasnya.
Hingga berita ini ditayangkan, petugas dan warga setempat masih berupaya melakukan pencarian. (udi)
