PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Tim penyidik bidang tindak pidana khusus (Pidsus) Kejaksaan Tinggi (Kejati) Maluku Utara menggeledah Kantor Badan Pertanahan Nasional (BPN) Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah, Kamis (22/9).
Penggeledahan ini dalam rangka penanganan kasus dugaan kasus mafia tanah di Desa Nusliko, Kecamatan Weda.
Dalam kasus ini, penyidik menetapkan tiga orang sebagai tersangka. Mereka adalah WL alias Wengky, mantan pegawai BPN Halteng. Sementara dua lainnya UB alias Umar selaku pemohon sertifikat, dan YI alias Yermia selaku Kepala Desa Nusliko.
Kasi Penkum Kejati Malut, Richard Sinaga dikonfirmasi membenarkan terkait dengan penggeledahan tersebut.
“Penggeledahan ini merupakan rangkaian penyidikan dugaan kasus mafia tanah yang sedang ditangani,” kata Richard saat dikonfirmasi tadi.
Sekadar diketahui, ketiga tersangka saat ini ditahan di Rutan Ternate. Ketiganya ditahan selama 20 hari ke depan. Para tersangka melanggar ketentuan Pasal 5 atau Pasal 9 atau Pasal 12 huruf b Undang-Undang Nomor 32 tahun 1999 junto UU Nomor 20 tahun 2001 tentang tindak pidana korupsi. (gon/ask)
