PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Penyidik Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Umum (Ditreskrimum) Polda Maluku Utara akhirnya menetapkan tiga dari empat anggota Polres Halmahera Utara sebagai tersangka atas kasus penganiayaan terhadap salah satu mahasiswa di Tobelo beberapa waktu lalu.
Ketiga anggota yang ditetapkan tersangka itu adalah Bripda FR alias Fid, Bripda SP alias Sofyan, dan Bripda DH alias Djarja. Sementara Bripda BRB alias Bram Ramos lolos dari pidana, namun yang bersangkutan dikenakan etik.
Kabid Humas Polda Malut, Kombes Pol Michael Irwan Thamsil dikonfirmasi secara terpisah membernarkan penetapan tersebut.
“Iya benar, penetapan tersangka tersebut berdasarkan hasil gelar perkara pada Rabu (26/10) kemarin oleh tim penyidik,” jelas Michael kepada wartawan, Kamis (27/10) tadi.
Ketiganya ditetapkan sebagai tersangka berdasarkan laporan polisi LP: B/89/IX tanggal 27 September 2022 tentang penganiayaan dengan korban Yolius Atus alias Ongen.
“Untuk pidananya berdasarkan hasil penyidikan terbukti tiga orang,” tuturnya.
Ia menambahkan, setelah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka, selanjutnya penyidik akan melakukan pemeriksaan sebagai tersangka. Namun untuk pelanggaran etik, ke empat anggota polisi itu saat ini masih ditahan di tempat khusus di Mapolres Halut.
“Atas perbuatan mereka, ketiga oknum polisi disangka melanggar Pasal 351 ayat (1) sub 335 junto pasal 55 ayat (1) ke-1 huruf e KUHPidana,” terangnya.
Sebelumnya pada Senin (3/10), sejumlah masa aksi yang tergabung dalam gerakan mahasiswa pemerhati sosial (Gamhas) mendesak Polda Maluku Utara segera mengusut tuntas dugaan kasus kekerasan dan intimidasi yang dilakukan oknum polisi di Polres Halut terhadap salah satu warga.
Aksi di depan Kantor Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Umum (Ditreskrimum) Polda Malut terkait dengan aksi penganiayaan yang dialami Yulius Yatu alias Ongen tepat di depan rumahnya pada 20 September 2022 lalu.
Ongen diseret dari teras rumah oleh empat Polres Halut, setelah sebelumnya ditampar dan dicekik hingga tak sadarkan diri. (gon/ask)
