“Iya kasih lunas. Namanya juga utang, dengan segala usaha mesti harus bayar,” ujar Gubernur yang akrab disapa AGK itu saat ditemui wartawan, Senin (27/2).
Gubernur dua periode ini juga menegaskan, prinsipnya pemerintah tetap berupaya dengan sisa waktu yang ada agar utang itu dilunasi.
“Kita bisa bayar. Kalau wartawan memang tidak bisa bayar. Insya Allah kita usahakan,” janjinya.
Soal pernyataan Wagub M. Al Yasin Ali yang menyatakan bahwa utang itu merupakan tanggung jawab Gubernur dan Sekda, ia justru menyalahkan Wagub. Menurut AGK, yang namanya kepala pemerintahan tentu ada wakil didalamnya, begitu juga dengan tanggung jawab masalah utang.
“Kalau dia serahkan ke Gubernur kan tidak etis. Pemerintahan itu ada Gubernur dan Wakil segala macam termasuk DPRD. Kalau saya pribadi tidak bisa bayar, tapi pemerintah bisa bayar,” pungkasnya. (ano/ask)
