PENA – Aliansi masyarakat lingkar tambang kecamatan Loloda menggelar aksi di depan kantor Bupati dan DPRD Halmahera Utara, Rabu (19/8). Aksi ini menuntut dua lembaga pemerintahan tersebut agar meninjau ulang izin operasi PT. Sumber Ardi Swarna (SAS) yang diduga belum jelas.
PT SAS sendiri merupakan perusahaan tambang yang mengelola pasir besi di kecamatan Loloda. Walaupun izin usaha pertambangan ini diduga bermasalah, tapi pihak PT. SAS sudah mulai beroperasi. Hal ini memicu masyarakat setempat menolak keras kehadiran PT SAS.
Perwakilan koordinator aliansi masyarakat lingkar tambang, Aisar Kofia, kepada Penamalut.com membeberkan beberapa poin yang menjadi tuntutan mereka. Yakni PT SAS harus angkat kaki dari Loloda, karena izin operasi sudah cacat secara prosedural status izin usaha pertambangan. Pasalnya, izin usaha pertambangan tidak masuk kategori perusahaan.
Selain itu, masyarakat dari 18 desa hanya 2 Desa yang tak menolak. Olehnya itu secara tidak langsung masyarakat menuntut PT. SAS agar angkat kaki dari Loloda. Dua desa yang tidak menolak PT. SAS ini, lanjut Aisar, karena perusahaan telah merekrut tenaga kerja dari dua desa tersebut.
“Meskipun menurut kami dalam merekrut tenaga kerja tersebut PT SAS tidak mempertimbangkan status keahlian tenaga kerja,” tegasnya
Aisar juga mengaku, jika tuntutan mereka tidak diindahkan oleh pemerintah dan DPRD, segala aktivitas perusahaan akan mereka boikot.
“Kami juga akan melakukan konsolidasi besar-besaran agar aktivitas pemerintahan di Loloda Utara diboikot hingga PT SAS ditutup,” tegasnya.
Setelah aksi, ketua DPRD Halut Yulius Dagilaha memanggil masa aksi untuk audiens. Yulius berjanji akan mengagendakan audiens lanjutan pada Selasa pekan depan guna pembahasan tuntutan masa aksi. (FN)
