PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Pemerintah Kota Ternate melalui Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan (Disperindag) merelokasi 180 pedagang Kota Baru ke Pasar Sabi-Sabi, Kelurahan Gamalama.
180 pedagang ini terdiri dari pedagang pakaian, sendal dan sepatu yang sebelummya menempati Pasar Kota Baru.
Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Kepala Disperindag Ternate, Muhlis Djumadil mengatakan, jumlah pedagang yang ada di Kota Baru itu berjumlah 240. Namun yang baru berhasil direlokasi itu 180. Sememtara 60 pedagang lainnya masih tetap bertahan.
Ia mengaku Pasar Sabi-Sabi ini mampu menampung 240 pedagang. Data sebelumnya sebanyak 200 lebih pedagang yang masuk ke pasar itu, namun dalam perjalanan para pedang satu per satu keluar.
“Tidak tahu dengan alasan apa. Jadi tidak boleh berdasarkan pedagang bahwa pembeli tidak ada, karena akan selamanya hanya alasan seperti begitu saja. Semua ini cari rezeki, mau barang yang sama atau berbeda tergantung pembeli. Semua sudah diatur. Jadi kalau kita ikuti kemauan pedagang, lalu pemerintah di mana? terus pedagang harus atur kebijakan sendiri,” tuturnya.
Untuk itu, Muhlis menegaskan bahwa apapun yang terjadi, pihaknya akan memindahkan para pedagang yang masih bertahan di Kota Baru ini ke Pasar Sabi-Sabi.
Pihaknya akan memfasilitasi tempat para pedagang dengan memperbaiki tangga naik agar supaya akses pembeli mudah dijangkau. Selain itu, dibuat papan informasi tempat penjualan pakaian untuk memudahkan para pembeli mengetahuinya.
Terkait 60 pedagang yang memilih bertahan di bagian selatan Pasar Kota Baru, pihaknya akan berkoordinasi dengan Wali Kota untuk langkah selanjutnya.
“Jika mereka masih bandel dan tidak ingin dipindahkan, 60 pedagang ini akan kita hapus data base dan bakal ditertibkan sesuai arahan Wali Kota nanti,” tegasnya. (udi/ask)
